Maypearl defeated Dallas Inspired Vision, 55-12, to secure their second of three District 7-3A victories. The win came at home on Sept. 9 and was also Homecoming for the Panthers and their alumni.
The Panthers previously defeated Dallas A Plus Academy (55-18) and capped their season with an 81-61 home win against Life Oak Cliff.
Maypearl finished the season 3-7 overall and 3-5 in district play. Following the mid-season departure of Adam Olson, the program has begun the search for its third head coach in three years (Olson, Sam Riepe).
