Despite three seniors ranked inside the top-60 in the state, iSchool of Lewisville could not slow down the Waxahachie Runnin’ Indians in a non-district hoops contest.
The Runnin’ Indians defeated the stacked iSchool squad, 77-68, inside Mike Turner Gymnasium on Nov. 26.
CJ Noland led the Runnin’ Indians with 26 points in the victory, scoring 12 of his points in the first quarter.
AJ Russ added 18 points, while Jalen Lake had 13, BJ Francis scored 11, Preston Hodge finished with five and AB Shorter had four.
As for iSchool, Cruz Davis matched Noland’s game-high 26 points. Julian Larry (17 points) and Qnevian Adger (11) were the only others to reach double-figures.
Adger is a 6-foot-7 forward that Dave Campbell’s Texas Basketball ranked 14th in the Class of 2020 preseason rankings. Larry, a 6-foot-1 guard, and Jay Wilson, a 6-foot-7 center, landed at No. 42 and 58, respectively, on that same list.
Wilson was held to six points and just two made field goals in the Waxahachie win.
iSchool, located in Lewisville, dubs itself as an “innovative online education” that takes “public schooling virtual throughout Texas.”
