Who will be the week 6 KBEC Sports Player of the Week?

Collin Drake (Ennis) finished the game 13-of-23 through the air for 160 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed a game-high 18 times for 137 yards and one score. The Lions defeated previously-unbeaten Royse City, 38-21, to improve to 5-1 on the season and 4-0 in District 8-5A.
Jesus Luna (Italy) delivered the game-winning extra-point kick in overtime Friday night to upset reigning district champion Bosqueville. The sophomore placekicker converted on all five of his point-after-touchdown attempts and finished 3-for-3 on field goals, including a long of 32 yards. The Gladiators won 44-43 in overtime to improve to 4-2 on the season and 2-0 in District 8-2A.
Miguel Padron (Avalon) accounted for 334 of the Eagles 435 total yards during Friday night's 52-42 home win against Trinidad. Padron completed 6-of-his-14 passes for four touchdowns and added 16 carries for 177 yards and two more scores. He also recorded seven total tackles (4 solo), one pass deflection and recovered one fumble to help Avalon to its 6-0 start to the season.
Patrick Blair (Ferris) recorded a game-high 14 total tackles (6 solo), one interception and one pass breakup in a 36-15 loss Friday against Caddo Mills. He also had one kick return for 19 yards.
