A 2020 Waxahachie graduate will continue her golf career at the NCAA level in the fall.
Kayli Nash, a soon-to-graduate senior, recently signed her National Letter of Intent to play golf collegiately at East Texas Baptist University, a Division III program located in Marshall.

The ETBU Lady Tigers finished fifth as a team or better during their shortened 2019-20 season.
Nash has been a member of the Lady Indians varsity golf team for the past three seasons and was a member of the 6A Region I qualifying team in 2019.
Nash and the Lady Indians had their spring season come to a screeching halt after just one tournament due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The team did play in several fall tournaments, leaving Nash with a 90.8 18-hole scoring average — good enough for third on the team behind Baylie Paris (88.7) and Marisabel Garza (88.7).
Ana Herrin (92.1), Vanessa Garza (102) and Allison Heflin (103) followed Nash in 18-hole scoring averages.
For their efforts, Paris and Garza were named Players of the Year for the Lady Indians, while Herrin and Nash received Most Improved honors. Garza and Heflin received the Strength of Character award and Heflin was named the Up and Comer of the Year.
