This week’s episode of “The Press Box” featured on-air interviews with a Midlothian wrestler aiming for his second-consecutive state championship and two senior soccer captains from Waxahachie.
On-air hosts Seth Sims and Brian Stevens first spoke Midlothian senior Jackson Carter and wrestling coach Kevin Reed about the Panthers return trip to the 5A state wrestling championships this week. They then spoke with Waxahachie girls’ soccer captains Rockie Acosta and Nina Ramirez about the Lady Indians’ successes through the first half of District 7-6A play.
Sims and Stevens then debated the merits of the Houston Astros 2017 *World Series title.
