This week’s episode of “The Press Box” featured the live on-air announcements of superlative winners for the KBEC Sports All-Ellis County girls’ basketball teams. The on-air announcement was also made of all All-Ellis County first- and second-team members, as well as honorable mentions.
On-air hosts Seth Sims and “The Voice of the Panthers” Tater Beard, who filled in for Brian Stevens, spoke with Ferris head coach Melissa Fullmer and point guard Tatyana Williams, Midlothian head coach Amy Tennison and guard Landri Schreier, and Red Oak head coach Darren Eubanks and guard Breanna Davis.
The Press Box airs weekly on Monday from 6-7 p.m. on KBEC 1390AM/99.1FM, as well as on KBEC.com, sports.KBEC.com and on the KBEC app available in both the Google Play and Apple app stores. The show features recaps of the week that was, interviews with coaches and KBEC Sports Players of the Week, as well as special guests and previews for the week ahead.
