This week’s episode of “The Press Box” featured on-air interviews with two soon-to-be collegiate football players and one head soccer coach pulling double duty.
On-air hosts Seth Sims and Brian Stevens first spoke Midlothian Heritage senior Jay Wilkerson about his decision to sign an NLI with Washington State instead of the University of Hawaii. They then talked about the state of soccer in the U.S., football and the successes of both Midlothian soccer programs with senior Shane Reasonvoer and head coach Austin Guest.
The Press Box airs weekly on Monday from 6-7 p.m. on KBEC 1390AM/99.1FM, as well as on KBEC.com, sports.KBEC.com and on the KBEC app available in both the Google Play and Apple app stores. The show features recaps of the week that was, interviews with coaches and KBEC Sports Players of the Week, as well as special guests and previews for the week ahead.
The Press Box is presented by Dr. Roux and McSpadden with Waxahachie Orthopedics, FBM Construction and the Stevens Team with Legacy Realty Group.
