The Press Box: Ep. 5 (Dec. 2, 2019)

This week’s episode of The Press Box focuses on the third round results of the UIL football playoffs and the upcoming regional finals, including interviews with head coaches Chris Ross (Red Oak), Lee Wiginton (Midlothian Heritage) and Sam Harrell (Ennis). Hosts Brian Stevens and Seth Sims also previewed the Ellis County girls’ basketball season and spoke with Red Oak head girls’ basketball coach Darren Eubanks.

The Press Box airs weekly on Monday from 6-7 p.m. on KBEC 1390AM/99.1FM, as well as on KBEC.com, sports.KBEC.com and on the KBEC app available in both the Google Play and Apple app stores. The show features recaps of the week that was, interviews with coaches and KBEC Sports Players of the Week, as well as special guests and previews for the week ahead.
