The Press Box: Swinging for the fences & March Madness: Ep. 18 (March 2, 2020)

This week’s episode of “The Press Box” featured on-air interviews with two Waxahachie baseball seniors and “The Voice of the Panthers.” 

On-air hosts Seth Sims and Brian Stevens first spoke with senior Waxahachie baseball standouts, Campbell Sullivan and Aaron Tesei, about the upcoming season, their NLI signings and life in general. 

Sims and Stevens then spoke with Tater Beard, the official voice of Midlothian High School athletics about the overtime no-call in the Lady Panthers’ state tournament bid and various other successes across MHS athletics. 

The Press Box airs weekly on Monday from 6-7 p.m. on KBEC 1390AM/99.1FM, as well as on KBEC.com, sports.KBEC.com and on the KBEC app available in both the Google Play and Apple app stores. The show features recaps of the week that was, interviews with coaches and KBEC Sports Players of the Week, as well as special guests and previews for the week ahead.
